"What I Felt With You" is a song by the British singer & songwriter Emma Blackery. It is the ninth track from her debut album, Villains.
Background
Emma dials back the chaos on breakup-related “What I Felt With You”, parent album Villains' second and final ballad.
Emma teased the song on Instagram saying:
“not every relationship ends with screaming or cheating. sometimes, two people just transform into beings entirely different from those who fell in love. sometimes there is no blame. sometimes that makes it even harder. this song is about changes, growth, growing apart, and two cars driving away from each other in completely opposite directions.”
Emma stated on Instagram that ‘What I Felt With You’ is her third favourite song from the album Villains.
On the back of the vinyl’s album artwork, the track list has little messages explaining what each song is directed towards. This song is: ‘For The One I Loved.’
