Background[]
The song was written during a period when Emma and her ex-boyfriend Luke Cutforth were fighting constantly due to stress related issues. It's initially about Emma's constant travelling that would leave Luke waiting at home for her to arrive. This would cause a strain within their relationship, eventually it being one of the main reasons as to why the relationship had ended.

- The track was meant to be on her debut single, "Sucks to Be You", however the song didn't flow well with the rest of the EP. The song was re-recorded in 2017 and remade into more of an upbeat electropop ballad rather than a rock song.
